Equipment

  • Instant Pot
  • Measuring Spoon
  • Measuring Cup
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Chef’s Knife
  • Cutting Board

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1.5 Pound Sirloin Steak, cubed
  • 0.25 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Cloves, chopped Garlic
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Brown Rice
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 2 Green Bell Pepper, sliced

Instructions

  • Add the olive oil, steak, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, water and rice into your Instant Pot® bowl. Stir well. Pu the Instant Pot® lid on the machine and se the steamer valve to the ‘seal’ position. Press the ‘manual’ button and set the timer for 5 minutes on high pressure. When the cooking time is complete, do a quick pressure release by carefully opening the steamer valve (be very careful as hot steam will escape from the valve as soon as you open it!).
  • Open the lid and add the bell pepper and onions to the pot and stir. Replace the lid and press the ‘keep warm’ button on the instant pot. Let the pot sit for 15 minutes to steam cook the onions and peppers (no need to seal the pot for this step!).
  • Open the Instant Pot® and serve the pepper steak while hot!
