Have you ever heard of goulash and thought that it sounded kind of complicated? A fancy dish with too many ingredients? Well think again! Using your Instant Pot makes goulash a delicious and super simple dinner to make. Everything goes right into the pot and out comes a perfect meal that everyone from kids to adults will enjoy. Trust me, goulash is going to be your new favorite recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 3 cups Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 0.5 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.125 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Pound Noodles

Instructions
 

  • Press the ‘saute’ button on your Instant Pot and add the ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to brown the beef.
  • Add all of the seasonings, soy sauce, water and bay leaves and stir.
  • Add the noodles then close the Instant Pot lid. Make sure the steam valve is set in the “seal” position then press the “manual” button and set the timer for 5 minutes using high pressure.
  • When the timer goes off indicating that the meal is done, let the pressure naturally release. His means just let the Instant Pot be and don’t touch anything! WHen you are able to unlock the lid, after about 10 minutes, open the pot, remove the bay leaves and serve the goulash while hot! Enjoy
