  • Instant Pot
  • Measuring Cup
  • Wire Instant Pot® Rack/ Trivet
  • Small Bowl
  • Ice

  • 1 cup  Water
  • 6 each  Eggs

  • Place the metal rack or trivet in the bottom of your instant pot along with the one cup of water.
  • Place the eggs on top of the trivet. If you are making more than 6 eggs, feel free to stack them on top of each other- it will work fine! You can easily make up to 12 eggs at a time in a 6 or 8 quart Instant Pot®.
  • Close the Instant pot and set the pressure valve to “seal”. Press the “manual” button and set the Instant Pot® to high pressure and a cook time of 5 minutes. Let the Instant Pot® cook! Once the Time is up,allow the Instant Pot® to naturally release the pressure for 5 minutes (just let the pot sit there!). Then, carefully open the steam valve to allow the remaining pressure to release.
  • Remove the eggs from he Instant Pot® and place directly into a small bowl of ice water. Let the eggs sit in the water for 5 minutes to cool and stop the cooking process.
  • Store the bard boiled eggs in the fridge, peeled or unpeeled (I like to peel mine before putting them in the fridge as I have found it is easier).
  • Enjoy plain, in egg salad or in any recipe you’d like.
